About Author

Ina Brink is a South African author and poet whose writing pulses with emotional depth, lived experience, and a profound curiosity about the human spirit. Her creative journey is anything but ordinary—shaped by her years at La Rochelle Girls' High School, her service in the South African Police Force, and her time as a successful dressmaker, each chapter of her life has added texture and authenticity to her voice. For over two decades, Ina has been crafting stories that delve into themes of justice, resilience, love, and the often-unspoken complexities of human relationships.

Her debut novel Defeated by Justice draws on her firsthand understanding of the legal system, offering a compelling and thought-provoking narrative, while her poetry—widely shared with her growing social media following—captures fleeting emotions, quiet reflections, and the beauty found in everyday moments. Whether she is writing fiction or verse, Ina’s work invites readers to feel deeply, question boldly, and connect more meaningfully. When she’s not immersed in her writing or working, Ina is a devoted mother of three, a passionate creative who still finds joy in painting and sewing, and a storyteller at heart who believes every word has the power to bridge souls.
